Ok, stupid question... What's the difference between "cake flour" and "white flour"?
Btw: I love this idea! I think the kids would have a blast making mini cakes like this!

cake flour (if I recall correctly) has been sifted twice, making it lighter and finer...
They are totally interchangeable unless you're baking for some really posh bakery. ;)
